On Saturday, July 12, 2025, Mozirje once again came alive with the rhythms of great music, delicious food, and top-quality beer. The 8th edition of the Savinja Beer Fest drew a large crowd of visitors who enjoyed the relaxed summer atmosphere and a rich selection of Slovenian craft beers and culinary delights.
The festival impressed with a diverse lineup of Slovenian breweries, including APE from Sevnica, Skubeer from Šoštanj, and Pelicon from Ajdovščina, who offered both their most popular brews and some experimental creations. A special highlight was the debut of Homecreature Brewery from Dravograd, a young brewery from the Koroška region, which captivated both beer connoisseurs and curious newcomers with its fresh and innovative flavors.
Of course, great beer was accompanied by excellent food. The festival featured a wide range of Slovenian cuisine—from juicy burgers and spicy hotdogs to mouthwatering desserts crafted by the local Pekoteka, known for its sourdough pastries and sweet surprises.
Adding to the experience was Enoteka Mozirje, which served luxurious cocktails made with local gins, such as Gineral Jolly Gin and their signature Orancello. This year also marked the first appearance of local rock legends Black Summer, whose energetic performance delivered an unforgettable musical experience.
The event attracted both locals and tourists, who together created a lively and welcoming festival atmosphere. Once again, Savinja Beer Fest proved to be one of the region’s most beloved summer events—celebrating a shared passion for craft beer, great food, and quality music.
