Very popular new trend is orange wine, but this is not something new in Vipava valley. They make “orange wine” for generations, but only lastes years is known as orange wine.
Wine delicate straw-yellow color with delicate pink shades. The wine is very aromatic with a pleasant fruity aroma, dominated by pear and grapefruit. The taste of the wine is smooth, medium bodied, aftertaste is accompanied by silky citrus note.

7 days of cold maceration and then 12 months of ripening in an oak barrel.
The wine is complemented by a variety of risotto with vegetables, rabbit meat or fish and fish dishes, e.g. sole. It’s also excellent for home-made Slovenian dishes such as greaves and sausages.
